do you have a ~/.e/e/themes/default.edj ? i swear i put code in to literally
delete that file if it exists.

for now - don't worry about that - i know things have issues there. i'll get to
that eventually.

that depends on the theme :) sure you can - if you fiddle with the theme.
eventually i will get to making all the text class stuff work so fonts and
sizes can be set by a user properly - right now it's half-arsed.

thats because just before they appear they grab the screen contents where the
menu will go over then calculate a new image with that as the base and stuff
blended on top. try this: go to a web page with an animated gif - pop up the
menu so its over the animation... then watch as the stuff under the menu is
frozen - but the stuff outside keeps moving. it's a hack.
