OH!! That's the pager! You don't really want to turn it off, if you get
used to it is fantastic! I can't imagine life without edge scrolling in
some manner between desktops, its one of the best things I enjoy about
using Linux. 

Try it for a while, adjust the sensitivity of the edge scroll/flip
whatever you want to call it. Your desktop organization will
dramatically improve.
