No... copy them to your .enlightenment and edit them there. It is a
better practice, I guess. Unless you want to make changes that will
affect all the users on your computer....

Oh! Now I get it! Just right-click on the destop background. A menu
called "Settings" will show up. Select "Virtual Desktop Settings...".
Now uncheck "Enable edge flip". Was that it? You should really take a
look at enlightenment's help (middle-click on bkg and then select
"Help") there are a lot of useful information there!
