Agreed. Was just accustomed to the close button have functionality.

This has actually been happening for quite some time. I always assumed it was how
enlightenment worked.
I generally have 7-12 gui apps open spread over 8 different virtual desks. And when I
restart a majority of them are in different places or missing. With the CVS version,
it isn't as bad as it used to be.
