Hi, Before I begin, if this e-mail is in html format, I'd like to apologize. I couldn't find anything in my isps webmail config options that would turn that option on or off.
When I enable audio options I get the error message "there was a problem connecting to the sound server (EsounD)" and it's shutdown. I'm running Enlightenment 0.16.6 on top of OpenBSD 3.3 on a plain white p233mmx pc. I've been getting the same error no matter which them I'm running, or user I'm logged in as. The odd thing is that it was working just prior to this, and suddenly stopped. I haven't tried rebuilding the esound library yet. Also, when I type "ps ax | grep esd" it shows up as running. I'm not at my computer right now else I'd give the exact message, and possibly include a dmesg as well. If these items would help, please let me know and I'll include them as soon as possible, though it may be awhile as I'm not going to be home for the next week or so due to visiting family and such. Thanks for your time. Also, please note that I'm not subscribed to the mailing list so if you wish to reply to me please e-mail me directly. Thanks again. -- W.
