Hi,
I've been searching the web for quite a while in search of a way
that I can auto-start an application in DR16 loadup.
Since I have a multi-wm setup (my wife likes KDE and I like DR16) I
didn't want anything that would start on both desktops...
After quite some tweaking and poking...a few beers and some luck...

I'll illustrate my example but with luck this will help all of the
people trying to auto-start an application....

I wanted to load "esd" on enlightenment startup - and only on E's
startup, so I eventually came across:

$HOME/.enlightenment/...e_session-XXXXXX.snapshots.0

at the top of the file I added:
NEW: ANYNAME
NAME: 0
CMD: /usr/bin/esd

which, in turn, started my "esd" every time I log onto E

I also added my rox pinboard with

NEW: ROX-SHELL
NAME: 0
CMD: /usr/local/bin/rox --pinboard=myBoard

and I must say my E is now completely different...

The file has other commands, such as WH and XY, which I presume are self
explanatory and should spare lot's of you guys some brain frying.

Cheers
