This breaks backwards compatibility. A minor upgrade of the engine can't change 
the identifiers (and thus the URIs) of objects. I'd suggest that you add the 
domain identifier generated using the current algorithm to the database. For 
domains added after this change you can generate the id as you like, but for 
existing ones it must be preserved.
