Patch Set 1: Hi Eli, I tried event-up -> event-down method This is what I tested. I added a host of the engine and turned off the vdsm host machine. The engine tried to connect and then showed a status of Non-Operational for the host. In the audit_log table VDS_FAILURE was logged. VDS_FAILURE is mapped to VDS_ACTIVATE in event_map table.
