Just a short email to say that I noticed this message. It pops up a complicated question that has been addressed several times in the mailing list, with no actual contribution that provided a real solution.
I would love to discuss this again and really clean up this mess with SIGINT and Ctrl-C, but I need some time (travelling right now) to write a summary of the status quo. In the mean time, I would recommend you to go back to the mailing list arxives in which we discussed the problems with interrupts, just to make sure we speak the same language.
