Yes, that was the case.  When I disable AIGLX and use LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1,
the problem goes away.  With AIGLX disabled but LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT not set,
I still see the problem.

OK.  FYI, I found them mentioned at:

The 20% that it works seems to be random and I don't see any other errors when
