This works perfectly, only using the DRM and the GL driver, (and adding
ForcePCIMode the the config), it worked fine, further proof the 2d drivers
deperately need updating. I have noticed some issues with DRI, but I'm
presuing they are related to some of the stuff I'm seeing in the list.

Sorry for the lateness of the reply, I was enjoying being able to use X
again and haven't setup email in linux yet.

Thanks again for this suggestion, now I only need Windows to watch DVD's and
wrige midi's .. (dri's s-video output is .. um ... scrambled)
