It seems that it can't resolve fabsf and xf86strncat (or some variant of). I unfortunately trashed my logs when I reverted back to my previous build of XFree86. I will try again today sometime to see if I can make it go ... or at least see if I can get some more information to debug with.
I fixed the xf86strncat problem but haven't heard of fabsf being a problem. Can you describe your OS environment?
Do a CVS update and try again.
