Yup. I'm running with a dual P4 HT (ie 4 virtual CPU's to software), and I
check with glxgears and the commercial tuxracer with a Radeon 8500. I've
also verified it on a UP machine with a Radeon 7500.
But yeah, on plain 2.5.48 you need to enable module support, but then
build everything into the kernel to get a working setup. With the
snapshots, I've got reports of success with modules (needs the new module
utils, of course).
