This is the buglet related to the integration of the RandR extension, it
bases all calculations on the largest possible virtual resolution
instead of the one actually used.

Does anyone happen to know how this was fixed in XFree86 CVS? Some users
of my Debian packages were also irritated by this.

A workaround is to explicitly specify the virtual resolution in the
display subsection.
