On a PII-233 with a 4MB gfx card? Come on get real! I can run battalion,
atlantis, and gears at the same time. Psx emulation is fine with some
simple games too. But Quake2 is already deadly slow.

There are (were?) -many- issues with textures managment, I fixed some in
my code. Have a look if you want. But the major drawback for me is still
speed. There is too few memory on my card (I can at most dedicate
512K/640K to tex), so in games with many texs, you have to copy from sys
mem continuosously. I dunno if using S3 tex compression, DMA, or asm the
things could get better. But until I won't get 15/20 fps on Quake2
running at is lowest res, I wont even dare to run Quake3 together with
UT ; )
