You don't need a seperate mesa install - the dri cvs includes the correct
version of mesa.

Building & installing branches is covered in the dri website.  Look there for
directions.  But I don't know if mesa-3-5 i810 driver is currently working or
not - Jeff may have broken it.  Jeff?
