Yes that is what I thought - thus the SSDIR setting in the config file. What is really strange is that it was working (albeit slow) on another workstation without the environment var so when that was the proposed solution I was a little baffled.
Thanks for the response. -----Original Message----- From: Nick Robinson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 09, 2004 2:34 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Draconet-users] Failing with: ss.exe exit code:100 - RESENT Hi Bryan, I have missed all these mail transactions over the weekend, but it seems like you have got yourself sorted if the SSDIR variable works. The reason it is needed is due to how SourceSafe works from the command line. The commandline needs the specific path to the dir of your VSS DB set in some variable. However, as far as I know the latest version of Draco actually sets the SSDIR before making a call to SS.EXE to perform the operations. Maybe there is a problem with that. nick robinson site : http://www.fromconcept.co.uk weblog : http://www.fromconcept.co.uk/weblog.aspx "Bryan Andrews" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > This worked... maybe it should be added to the docs (unless I missed it).
