I'm in for designing and printing the invites for the band, and other duties as my schedule permits. - - rich - - - - - - - - - - There has been Fan Club interest in holding a "reunion" in Laughlin, NV as the Doobies play 2 nights at the Flamingo Hilton April 27 & 28, 2001. This sounds like a great time! However, for this event to become a reality fan club members need to take ownership of the club. Several fan club members need to step forward and take control in planning this event or it will not become a reality. Here are some of the jobs that need to be done: 1) Someone to organize a block of tickets for Fan Club members. 2) Someone to search hotel data and post it to the fan club, possibly organizing a block or rooms for FC members 3) Treasurer to rent ballroom/meeting room for "reunion", accept registrations, collect registration fees, and pay all reunion related expenses. 4) Someone to create the invitations that will be sent to the band. Peter has already done some leg work on this and is willing to share the information that he has. Any takers?
