QTextDocument is sensitive code, users will report regressions if anything is 1px off compared to previous Qt version. All this risk for the sake of docs ? Even if we started adding features, where do we stop, where's the cut-off ? People will want more and more, until it's a full blown browser. I think it could be easier to remove most of the unneeded features from QtWebKit than to add the missing ones to QTextDocument.
