Yes and yes. That doesn't mean it happens or it can be done. I've been the sole developer of QtDBus since 2006. The previous developer (HarryF) has long since stopped looking at it, even though he's still around. In general, the amount of work in small enough that one developer is enough to maintain it. If no one else wants to learn about it, there's little I can do about it. I'm no one's boss.
