OK. Should this kind of announcement go to users@?
RTEMS 5 will be the first release with a corresponding libbsd branch, e.g.
there is no 4.11 branch in libbsd.
Ok, this is wrong. There is a 4.11 branch in libbsd. I am not sure if there
exists someone who cares about this branch. Maybe we should delete it.

Please do not delete the branch. The 4.11.3 release contains the libbsd package.

I can remove libbsd from the 4.11.4 release but I cannot go back in time and
remove it from the previous releases. Let me know if you think libbsd should not
be in any future 4.11 releases.
The libbsd on the 4.11 branch is based on FreeBSD 9.3. Here the callout
implementation is different and this bug is not present.

Since we have now this libbsd on the 4.11 branch I think we can keep it. I don't
have time to maintain it.

Sorry, I cannot follow this. Should I create a libbsd package on the next 4.11
release?

In case all previous 4.11 release have this package, then it makes sense to have one for the latest release.
