This capability was VERY useful when migrating an ancient Cyrus installation to a modern Cyrus. (IIRC I had to do some relatively trivial munging with perl/sed to make it work, though.) > Though arguably, since it loses data at the moment anyway, > replacing the format entirely isn't making it any worse. > > I'm interested in your input, particularly with regards to: > > * dlist or json? > > * sort-of-backwards-compatible or not-at-all? JSON sounds like a swell idea. Keeping the code to import the old format for a while would be appreciated. The code to generate the old format can be removed, I think (if it makes sense, I haven't looked at the code.) -- regards, Kjetil T. ------------------------------------------ Cyrus: Devel Permalink: https://cyrus.topicbox.com/groups/devel/Tea9b3c8c5728d1e8-Mf7ff5fc38542bb7d23c36d29 Delivery options: https://cyrus.topicbox.com/groups/devel/subscription
