I tested the .zip version, but when trying .tar.gz
I'm getting the:
$tar zxf apache-tomcat-7.0.33.tar.gz
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
Using tar (GNU tar) 1.26 from Fedora17, so should be ok.
Anyone else tried .tar.gz from Mark's link?
