The main clue (as far as I can tell) of something going wrong is the fact that the BEGIN event + read loop is in 1 thread, and the error in happens another (see the summary of comment 6). Do you not agree that this should not happen? If you agree that this is wrong (whatever the cause, Tomcat or my code), I can try and debug what causes this to happen.
