Honestly, it wouldn't be a bad idea to put a banner on the tool that announces that this tool makes binary changes to potentially copyrighted works and that it is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the tool is not being used in a way that violates copyright or any other law. That will at least make people stop and think about it.
