Take an existing NIO2 configuration running on 8.0.32 and port the changes to 8.5.3. What are you asking me to provide you other than what I have? If you are saying NIO2 does work and you have tested it, then what changed in 8.5.3 to allow the connector to work? I've reproduced this inhouse on several systems and our engineering department did the same and the only thing that would allow this to work was changing Http11Nio2Protocol back down to HttpNioProtocol.
