Summary: Autodeploy creates folders with too-wide permissions
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: 5.0.15
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Native:Integration
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
                CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'm running Tomcat 5.5.15 on Linux (kernel 2.6.9). If I drop a .war file into
catalina.base and it is auto-deployed, then directories created under the
webapp's tree are world-readable, whereas in fact they (and the files within
them) should be readable only by the user/group running Tomcat.
