This new commit addresses all of the review feedback except the README. I
didn't do a rebase, so this patch probably doesn't apply as is. I wanted to
post this for feedback separately from the rebase which I'll do next.
I'm not sure about the README. We don't want to get into a situation where
we're trying to document all of the features provided by Flume. I think if we
add something, it should be a pointer to the Flume documentation for the
version of Flume that we're using.
Will that be sufficient?
