Subject: Re: [Moblin Dev] play audio

Hi,

Thanks for the answer, Jing J Wang provide me with the aplay commando
to play the sound file. However this is only a small part of my problem.

Let me explain:

I need to be able to read from a 'Line in' or a 'mic' and this for the
channel Left and Right. I don't really know how to do this.
Then with this input from the 'line in' or 'mic' I need to be able to
write to a 'Line out' Left or Right. Again here I don't know how to do
this.
I've attached a block diagram with our audio part on it.

On our platform there will be only one application running on it.
There is no gnome or any other application that is allowing to run
multiple applications.

I've noticed that the pulseaudio does not work on the moblin
application (not even the pre-build vmware images) so I guessed that I
had to look for something else.

I rather new in the audio enviroment so I don't know really were to
look for getting my audio to work.

PJ
