Judy, It is true that the guides need a consistent review. Some of them are put up and not verified when other parts of the project change. We'll try to do better.
One note is that there is a script called ume-xephyr-start (I think) which does all the initial startup for you so you don't have to type in the long Xephyr command. It also kills gconfd. I also changed the category "Mobile" to "Graphics" since that is a registered category and "Mobile" isn't. I tried a few other things as well with no result. Does anybody know why the icons won't show?
