These are my notes which Jinmei started me off with:

*Debug GFSH*

*==========*

export
JAVA_ARGS=-agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=y,address=30000

*Debug a DUNIT test*

=================

-Ddunit.debug.basePort=29999 -Ddunit.debug.suspendVM=1 (-1 means locator,
0-3 means one of the 4 vms)

Port 29999 will be the locator, VM0 will be on 30000, VM1 will be on 30001,
etc.

if 0, connect to port 30000

if 1, connect to port 30001, etc.

*Debug the Locator*

*===============*

start locator --name=locator1
--J='-agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=y,address=30000'
