Probably this discussion can be split into three parts:
- Naming changes that affect the public API
- Naming changes that affect serialization
- Naming changes that do not affect API's or serialization
I'm generally in favor of removing 'Gemfire' from names as long as we
thoughtfully consider backwards compatibility and rolling upgrade implications.
