Hi everyone,

As we are closing the release of 0.9, I believe it is time for us to
start planning the 1.0 release. This milestone represents a
significant step forward, signaling that Fluss is production-ready and
stable for enterprise workloads.

I have drafted an initial roadmap for Fluss 1.0, which outlines the
key features, improvements, and stability enhancements we aim to
deliver.

You can find the detailed proposal here:
https://github.com/apache/fluss/discussions/2684

The proposed timeline:
* Feature Freeze: June 1, 2026
* Release: June 15, 2026

The roadmap covers several critical areas including core
functionality, performance optimizations, API stability, and
documentation completeness. I encourage everyone to review the
proposal and share your thoughts, suggestions, or concerns.

Best regards,
Jark Wu
