Yes. I'd also very much like to see this split. I'm interested in the technical side of things, but not so much the policy stuff (and, frankly, the incessant bickering and advocacy that goes along with it).
Maybe policy-crypto, instead of policy-trustanchors? That might be a bit more discoverable, makes the connection to dev-crypto clearer, and is a more general policy-vs-tech split. Usenet-wise, I'd think it should probably be mozilla.policy.crypto (or mozilla.policy.trustanchors), instead of in the .dev hierarchy.
