So that opportunity was missed for Fx 3.

But with the right info *now* from the NSS team about what is required
for it to happen, and a little hope, this can still change for Fx 3.1

So is there a bug ?

I'm trying to get the info about what this requires from PSM, for now it
apparently seems that it's nothing more than telling NSS to use sqlite3
at initialization time.

If so, if the NSS team had been vocal enough at the right time, it
*would* have happened for Fx 3.0 (of course, there has been a not so
short period before the release where even being very vocal would not
have worked, that time was too late to do any potentially disruptive change)
