Unfortunately there are legitimate uses for e.g. comparing the effects of two different changesets related to the same bug.
On the other hand, without thinking too hard about the implementation details (which I am inclined to believe would be more complex than you might expect due to missing APIs, auth, etc.), it seems like it might be possible to extend |mach try| to prompt to cancel old pushes for the same bug.
