I feel compelled to note that unmasking ('keywording' is the Gentoo jargon for it) to get Firefox-latest means just adding one line to a config file and that that's also what needs to be done to install any version of Chrome. All Chromes are marked unstable in Gentoo. Thanks to all of you for working through this stuff and engaging the Linux communities about it.
