(sorry, I must have responded to an existing thread instead of creating a new entry.

Actually, I was testing TB: it seems to have
a bug in that creation of new message is prohibited after I try to respond to a message with e-mail address as well as newsgroup in its destination. This prohibition itself is fine. But please read on. TB then complains that from this account I can only send an e-mail message when I try to issue the message. So I took out a newsgroup destination and happily sent out e-mail message, that is what I thought. But then "create a new mail" menu entry is greyed out, and I could not create a new message any more.
I had to restart TB. I was checking the issue,
and left an empty composite window lying around, and
I must have used THAT window for this message. Sorry about broken threading info.)

Hi,

I thought I try profiler to see how it works in TB, but
I get the following error.
It looks a module called |panel| is not usable in
TB.
I looked at jetpack-panel-apps web page noted in the message, but
am clueless.

Error Message:
error: geckoprofiler: An exception occurred.
Error: The panel module currently supports only Firefox. In the future
we would like it to support other applications, however. Please see

Any profiler that is usable for TB?
(Or are we to revert to low-level tools such as GCC's -pg and use
gprof or something like that? I have no idea if it will work
with a complex program like TB or FF with so many shared libraries and
source files spread over so many directories, etc.)

TIA
