Hi Henri, Please refer to the "2.2 Out of Scope" from [1]. It noted that "This Working Group will not define or mandate network protocols for sharing content between user agents and secondary displays." Therefore the idea of leveraging and extending DIAL will not be the scope of this WG. And that is just one opinion from a member only not the final decision or direction there.
Though the interoperability between browser vendors is important too.
