One of the interesting things is that we can use this data to provide location based
services to Firefox. I switched my install of Firefox to use Mozilla Location Service
(MLS). You can try this by simply change the preference "geo.wifi.uri" to
""https://location.services.mozilla.com/v1/geolocate”

Small correction. The url needs to contain a currently arbitrary API key. So
specify something like:

https://location.services.mozilla.com/v1/geolocate?key=nightly

If you have more questions, https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-geolocation
is a good place to start or the #geo IRC room on irc.mozilla.org.

I get a 404 response when using either address. Is this the expected response? (My area is not mapped so I don't expect it to correctly find my location.)
