HEVC-MSP did really well. Its unfortunate that Mozilla could not use it in any capacity since its tied to the encumbered MPEG HEVC standard.

Also, I didn't know that someone was working on a JPEG-XR FOSS encoder. I wonder how it compares to the Microsoft reference encoder.
