I did detailed measurements of my new machine here:

 The old machine (an i7-2600) took ~48s.

Haswell chips are pretty nice, in my experience.  Using clang instead
of GCC also produces big wins -- the stock Ubuntu 13.04 version of
clang is *much* faster than the stock GCC.  Details in the blog post.
