You have certificate validation turned on and it looks like you have
Mozilla's certificates specified. Try disabling it and then testing by
flipping the following preferences.
app.update.cert.requireBuiltIn to false
app.update.cert.checkAttributes to false

BTW: the app.update.url.override pref is for testing and bypasses these
checks.
