I don't use Ubuntu 25.04, so I don't know if the same problem with logging in is there. I noticed that if I don't touch the mouse when logging in (the mouse cursor doesn't move), the system boots correctly. If the cursor moves after entering the password, the screen remains black with the mouse cursor in the shape of an X. I hope my observation helps you somehow. It's about time I discovered the error and fixed it.
