Does the bug perhaps occur whenever the laptop monitor is not at the top-left of all monitors?
-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2116953 Title: External monitors reset fractional scaling Status in mutter package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Whenever external monitors are plugged in and unplugged, my laptop LCD display always defaults to 100% fractional scaling, and that specific monitor needs to be at 125%, not 100%, otherwise the text is too small for me to read. And this makes using the Ubuntu operating system largely inconvenient for me when in comparison to Windows. If re-creating the problem on your end doesn't work, just know I have DisplayLink by Synaptics installed, a USB hub managing software.
