Thanks for the bug report. Please run: ps -e -o pid,pcpu,rss,comm --sort -pcpu > processes.txt journalctl -b0 > journal.txt
and attach the resulting text files here. Separately, 1. The release of Ubuntu 22.04 is outdated and we recommend 24.04 instead. 2. You don't have an Nvidia driver installed and the open source 'nouveau' driver you are using is known to have performance problems. But that probably won't noticeably affect the whole system unless you're using multiple monitors. Please consider using the 'Additional Drivers' app to install an Nvidia driver. But I would recommend Ubuntu 24.04 before that. ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2116093 Title: My system is lagging Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: My system is lagging.
