https://www.iafastro.org/assets/files/events/iac/2024/IAC_2024_Manuscript_Guidelines_Final_official.pdf,
 chose to open the document in Firefox. Tab opened, but Firefox stalled for 
around a minute or two, not rendering the document.

  Expected: Document opens close to immediately.

  Repeatability: 2/2

  Workarounds:
  Use external application to open the pdf: evince opened the document 
instantly.
