Then click on it, without releasing the click and you can't tile this window. In Gnome 48 (ubuntu 25.04), a window to be tiled, must first be unmaximized, then selected again to be tiled. If you try to tile a window directly while it is maximized, without releasing the mouse, no selection will be displayed to tile the window.
