'screen' is a terminal multiplexer and a package which you do not have installed so cannot be the errant package.
I'm moving this to the Settings application (gnome-control-center) so that your problem is brought to the attention of Ubuntu's Desktop team. Please confirm that this is still an issue and clarify that you are still using Ubuntu 22.04 as the bug description mentions (incorrectly) Ubuntu 24.04.5 which does not yet exist. ** Package changed: screen (Ubuntu) => gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2100990 Title: Screen Display in settings doesn't work Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In Ubuntu 24.04.5 ...Screen display offerings do not work; comes from Gnome settings, I think In Ubuntu 24.04.5 on another machine Screen display offers only one choice which does not work well.
