Title:
Ubuntu 22.04 gdm3 freezes with Nvidia GPU

Status in gdm3 package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I have Ubuntu 22.04 installed and keep updating everyday. After
Friday's update (04/15/2022), Ubuntu 22.04 booting will freeze very
  likely at gdm3.

I am able to confirm: uninstalling Nvidia driver could solve the issue
but gave me a slow GUI.

I am also able to reproduce the issue by: 1> fresh install Ubuntu
22.04 beta; 2> switch to Nvidia 510 driver and reboot and it worked
fine; 3> apt update & apt upgrade and reboot; 4> Ubuntu freeze.

I am able to reproduce the issue on both my NV GTX1080 and Quadro
  P620.

It is unbelievable a bug surfaces at this stage (I guess RC?).

I hope I was able to upload a syslog later.
